Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy

The Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy for 2016 to 2019 was published in November 2016.  This strategy sets the priorities and overall approach for the Devon Health and Wellbeing Board.

    Devon County Council: Better Together

    ‘Better Together’ sets out a vision for 2020 and beyond for the County Council detailing how the council will work with partners to help people and communities control their own future. The document sets out plans to address the aims of being healthy, connected, safe, prosperous and resilient. Underlying this vision is the need for collaboration (working with the public and other organisations to achieve the best outcomes), being enterprising (achieving good value and working efficiently and effectively), and being innovative (working in new and flexible ways).

    Wider Devon Sustainability and Transformation Plan

    The Wider Devon Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) sets out plans to improve health and care services for people across Devon in a sustainable way. Health and care organisations as well as local authorities across Devon have been working together to create the shared five-year vision to meet the increasing health and care needs of the population whilst ensuring services are sustainable and affordable. The STP provides the framework within which detailed proposals for how services across Devon will develop – between now and 2020/21.
